Her designer dress probably cost FAR less than dresses worn by past First Ladies. The NYT had a fashion article on her saying she deliberately chooses fledgling designers and typically shuns the high dollar names. She's also planning on decorating the White House in much the same way, making sure that it's actually a *home* for the family. Michelle Obama rocks.
